Glamping Sites in Sigiriya

Great location, within walking distance of Sigiriya/Lion Rock. Reachable from Dambulla either via bus or tuk tuk. The lodge has a sublime natural vibe, whilst still maintaining great amenities and neatness standards. Most importantly, the host was eager to assist with a multitude of additional activities available in the region - elephant safaris, massages, cooking classes and village tours, to name a few. Breakfast was also amazing, prepared on site using traditional means and recipes. Would recommend to anyone!

The breakfast and dinner were amazing, always different and cooked by the owner Costa, also a chef. Costa took us to a safari where we saw 70+ elephants, took me to Pidurangula for the sunrise and gave explainations about everything. Him and his wife are lovely and the place is quiet in the middle of the jungle. You might even see elephants there!

This was our second stay at the Pinthaliya Resort, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. The resort’s breathtaking location immerses you in the heart of nature, offering the serene feeling of living in the jungle. One of our favorite features was the stunning swimming pool, beautifully surrounded by lush trees. The hospitality was exceptional, with every member of the staff being incredibly friendly and supportive throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Nimna, Vidurinda, and Hiruni for their outstanding service and warm support. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so wonderful. We can’t wait to return to this amazing place soon!

Piya and his family were excellent hosts. They gave us space and comfort, they were very kind and helpful. They organized everything what came to our mind. He also showed us interesting places in the area which are not shown on the internet - you have to be a local to know them. The food was delicious and in big portions, and everyday we ate something new. We will definitely visit this place if we are ever again in Sri Lanka. Place is away from a main road which is an advantage and disadvantage - this means the place is very quiet and calm. There are shops with essentials like water and toothpaste very close. But if something is needed - you can get a tuktuk or a bike. There are really friendly people in the area. We felt very welcomed.
