Our stay at this safari lodge was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience special. Damith, the chef, and the helper were absolutely outstanding — attentive, warm, and always ready to make every moment magical. Honestly, this place would not be perfect without them. The food was a highlight: traditional, organic, and served beautifully under lantern light by the bonfire, creating such an authentic atmosphere. We especially loved the night walk, which was both fun and informative for us and our son. A special mention to Damith for arranging a masseur — having a massage every evening outside our tent, surrounded by nature, was pure bliss! This lodge combines nature, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality in the best way possible. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable safari stay!

We had a truly unforgettable stay, thanks to the breathtaking Mango Safari Camping and the outstanding dedication of the team. We spent one night at the charming and peaceful campsite and were warmly welcomed. We went to the Elephant Transit Home which was an unforgettable moment in our life where many baby elephants are bottle-fed by humans. The actions and demonstrations done by baby elephants were amazing and somewhat similar to human babies, which was funny to see. We were treated to a traditional Sri Lankan dinner by the bonfire – the food was very delicious. In the morning, we enjoyed a jeep safari in the Udawalawe National Park, we could see ample of elephants feeding on grass, deer, water buffalo, and birdlife of the area and the scenery was simply stunning.

Great idea with great realisation!! It has nice reception area, two zones of camps and houses with swimming pools for each, big children playground, nice restaurant and close location to the national park. We stayed in deluxe camp which was not new but clean and comfortable! Every morning they come to clean and refill tea/coffee/water savings. They have arranged safari tour for us, the guide was very nice and the price was very reasonable. We liked everything.

Super kind and friendly staff. Definitely the best of the camp. The tents are super well equipped. You feel you are in a camp without compromising on comfort. The setting is very nice, and the vibe at night is awesome with the bonfire and the fire lamps. Great option to stay one night if you want to do safari in the afternoon and in the morning.

Superb glamping tent set up. Very luxurious and comfortable. It was huge! With two separate bedrooms and a little seating area in the front, very well furnished and exceptionally clean. Staff were incredible and very helpful, right from the moment we arrived they couldn’t do enough to help us and were extremely polite and respectful. The meals were exceptional and seemed to be conjured up from nowhere! They were served under the stars for dinner around a beautiful fire, which was so special. Then there was the safari itself, it was so magical seeing herds of elephants and their babies. Our guide and driver were so motivated to ensure we had an excellent experience and stopped at nothing to ensure this happened.

After the safari at the udawalawa National Park, we arrived at the hotel in the evening. The location of this property is close to the river and it's very beautiful. We ordered our dinner in there. The food was so good. (We ordered something sri lankan with lake fish). The bed was so comfortable, and the room was very clean. You can make your own tea or coffee in the room. Apart from our tent, there are few tents in this property. The environment of this property is very calm and quiet. There were few options for breakfast. We ordered the srilankan breakfast for us, and it was so delicious. Actually it was a nice experience of our holiday. We will come back soon. Thank you 😊

This place is such a retreat! The cabins are so luxury with a big bed, perfect aircon and such a cute vibe!! We had such a peaceful sleep here. The pool is gorgeous, a place you can just go to swim and rest. The breakfast is out of this world. So many options and so much food! Even watermelon juice on tap. Felt so lucky at this accommodation. Will be back!
