It was a good stay, each bed in the dorm has its own socket, curtain and comfy bed. The garden is great for relaxing and enjoying a chill oasis in busy Kathmandu. The hostel is located outside the busiest sections of Thamel and has some nice small local places around for food. The owner is an experienced guide and organizes hiking tours either by group or individually. Also, the staff was extra helpful as they organized shipping of the stuff I forgot in the hostel, can't thank enough for that!

I looked all over the Internet for the perfect place to stay during my time in Bathali, I am so glad I found Thumki Resort, the Hotel is located in the most beautiful scenic location and the views during sunrise and sunset were remarkable, the Staff was very friendly and the food was brilliant in all aspects truly authentic Nepali cuisine. I’ll definitely visit if I’m ever in the area again and highly recommend anyone else to do so as well.
