Glamping Sites in Lake Tekapo

Fabulous location, lovely walks, very well equipped kitchen. Very cosy with the heating on, electric blankets on bed was a nice touch. Absolute peace and complete darkness, the stars were amazing.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay! We wish we had more time to spend there! The Station is breathtaking, multiple tracks around the property take you up to viewpoints of Mt Cook and the Southern Alps, and Lake Pukaki. A beautiful and easy drive along the lakeside to get to your accommodation - which is easy to find. The Station is so peaceful. The Station Huts are adorable - they have everything you need, are a generous size. We were toasty warm while staying there - beds (and bed linen) are very comfortable and warm. The accompanying kitchen and bathroom are great - all you might need to self cater. Indoor and outdoor seating - so you can enjoy breakfast with the views and friendly fantails. Everything is absolutely spotless - so clean and tidy. We would love to return - it has been a trip highlight!

The view was lovely, peaceful location. Sweet little tiny home. Easy drive from Lake Tekapo. Recommend if you want a comfy, peaceful spot away from the crowds.

Cute little tiny home with everything you need in a beautiful area. Had sheep right next to us and woke to the sounds of birds chirping and sheep chomping on grass. Very peaceful. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and it was very cloudy so didn’t get the star gazing I was hoping for but I imagine it would be amazing if you are lucky enough to have a clear night.

Our stay at Mackenzie pass retreat was amazing. wWe always wanted to do a tiny home stay and this was just perfect. Beautiful location, easy to find , well maintained and close to other places like Lake Tekapo. We will definitely revisit sometime again.
