Glamping Sites in Monticello

Amazing fire pit and unique experience staying in a dome.

We booked a ‘tent’ dome through booking.com and quickly upgraded it to a ‘queen suite’ to accommodate a third adult. The pictures on the website were great, so it definitely seemed worth the money. The upgrade process happened through booking.com’s chat feature, and was confirmed through an email. When we got there, though, we found that the dome assigned to us only had a single queen bed, and had an air mattress for a third person. Not what we expected from the pictures or the booking.com page! We called the number from the confirmation email, and without hesitation the owner went to work for us. Within half an hour, he was on site to lead us to another dome, apologizing for the inconvenience. The dome we then found ourselves in was something straight out of a dream. Incredible views, incredible privacy and all the luxury we could ever expect from a place like this. We almost felt guilty to disturb it. Safe to say, “the WOW experience” absolutely came true for us and the host deserves all our praise and more! Our only regret is that we didn’t book for longer..

It was exactly what you would expect when booking a covered wagon. It slept 4, was real close to the bathrooms and shower. It is for sleeping only though.

The property itself is secluded and the way Joe has laid out the camp spots, RV’s provides privacy as well as a great community area.
