AustraliaIt's quiet self contained, a chance to do camping in style away from home (we do normally go camping) this was more upper class for us so it was good since it would have been hard for us otherwise being from a different country not knowing the elements and places to go otherwise and was a more cost effective then staying in the canyon since that's the reason we were there.
For a family with 3 kids, there was plenty of space and more facilities than a hotel room, and we felt safe there. Like any caravan, the shower had limited hot water time (5 Minute showers, 20minutes to reheat) in the caravan but there were showers on-site that were clean and had plenty of hot water as well as soap/body wash. There was heating and cooling inside. Some nice restraunts to eat in town and only an hour drive from the Canyon and the drive was not stressful (one road all the way through). They offer wood for fire (when permited for $) and a bbq for outdoor cooking, as well as stove, oven and Microwave and all basic things dishes, cutlery etc needed for your stay. Good internet as well. The beds were firm, so if you like a soft bed you may need to bring something extra to put on the bed or ask (i did not so not sure if there is an alternative onsite) and the staff were wonderful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.
