NetherlandsDuring the day, we enjoyed hearing the waves at the beach and lots of birds. At night, the frogs were present as well. We really enjoyed being surrounded by nature.
We stayed at the Fisheagle Cottage. It’s a spacious house with two bedrooms, a private pool, and a nice outdoor area featuring a braai and fire basket. The cottage overlooks the 2 ponds, where the birds and frogs are.
Just a five-minute walk brought us to a ‘private’ beach, where we spent two hours without seeing any people.

ZimbabweI highly recommend The Farmer's Lodge for anyone looking for peace and tranquility. The ambiance was serene, making it a perfect haven to recharge fully. Chalet was huge with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, braai outside, and stunning gardens. Wild 5 is directly on the property for activities like zip line and wild swing.
What made my stay unforgettable was the warm smiles and genuine hospitality of exceptionally friendly staff - Deline, Angel and Armstrong.
For accommodation in Oribi Gorge, this is a perfect place.
