I stayed here for about a month and really loved every moment of it. Casa das Irmãs is a beautiful, calm, natural, quiet living space with comfortable beds and a very well-stocked communal kitchen. I loved the yoga/recreation space and I really enjoyed taking classes there for affordable and fair prices! Such a beautiful community of women and artists. Every part of the place is also extremely clean and comfortable! I also loved the beautiful trees all around, and it’s super close to a lovely waterfall (princesinha). Walk to town is 15-20 mins but it’s fine and it’s nice to be a bit farther away. There’s a little produce/grocery store right across the way, so it is no issue. I really loved it.

The showers are hot and the kitchen/tent was clean - I reserved a tent and it was a true glamping experience complete with a bench, outlet and light. Cassia and Diogo are incredibly caring, kind and make sure you have everything you need, and more. Cassia made a delicious squash soup one night for everyone - truly rare generosity all around. The kitties and Pretinho the dog are a joy, and the mirante lookout rooftop is the perfect place to see the stars. The bonfires and edible plants sweeten the paradise. Anyone would be lucky to experience Filhos da Floresta.
