Great staff! Great value! Operation is exquisite, thanks to owners, Severine and Mogan. They have a clear operational philosophy, and it shows in every detail. The view from the deck is so relaxing, especially after a long drive. We stayed in the campsite, and its ablution was the cleanest of our entire trip (probably the cleanest of all Botswana). A true gem in the rough, literarily! Highly recommended. Make sure you drive a 4x4 to get there.

Guests will have a special experience as this tent provides a fireplace. Askiesbos was one of the best places we stayed on our 3-week trip to Botswana. We stayed in one of the river tents with the outdoor bathroom and everything was very clean, with convenient places to put your things, like soap and toiletries. The common areas are comfy, with tea and coffee and filtered/purified water available on-tap. The view over the pan-handle papyrus whilst sat on a sofa was brilliant. We spotted a handful of birds just from there! Our excursions were booked ahead of time and were not only value for money but were brilliant. If you are interested in birds, ask for Lucky as your guide. We saw over 60-bird species in just two days spent with him (panhandle tour and Tsodilo hills walk). The accommodation is a little out of the way, but fully accessible from the main road and we were able to organise a pick-up from the bus stop also. Overall, fantastic stay - highly recommend.

These sand colored tents feature an en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. They are equipped with a mosquito net, tea-and-coffee making facilities and a terrace with outdoor dining area. Russ and his wife gave us a very warm welcome and took plenty of time for us. Dinner was absolutely delicious.

Staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Loved the variety of home cooked food and the chef telling us what we were eating every evening. Tents were cleaned every day. Day trips were conducted by professional guides. Loved the hot water showers and hot water bottles in bed every evening. An unforgettable experience.

The staff are super friendly and helpful.. we booked the canoe (mokoro) through them which was an amazing experience. Very well organised, the packed lunch was delicious, the guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. Also the driver who took us to the mokoro place (Lovemore) was super nice. All in all it was a very great experience.
