Guests will have a special experience as this tent provides a fireplace. The tents were clean and appeared very new as did the bathroom facilities. Quick hot water. #1forest tent was well located and the watering pool near our deck attracted wildlife. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The food was very good, especially the apple tart. Boat cruise was a convient walk from our tent. The pool was clean, fun, and refreshing.

We were looking for a convenient stopover close to Maun but outside of town, and Tshima Bush Camp, located about 30 minutes toward Ghanzi, suited us perfectly. We stayed in Tent No. 4, which was both practical and comfortable, furnished with beautiful, handcrafted pieces made by the owner, Russell. A real highlight was the bathroom—with its half-wall of netting, we could enjoy the sunrise right from the shower, which was a lovely way to start the day. Although we hadn’t originally planned to have dinner at the camp, we’re so glad we decided to. Russell and Verena are warm, attentive hosts who prepared an outstanding meal. Every detail—from the homemade mayonnaise served with fresh chips to the perfectly cooked steak and béarnaise sauce—was thoughtful and delicious. The breakfast basket the next morning was a delightful surprise and much appreciated. It’s clear how much care and attention Russell and Verena put into their owner-run camp. Their personal touch was felt throughout our stay. Thank you both for your kind hospitality.

Staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Loved the variety of home cooked food and the chef telling us what we were eating every evening. Tents were cleaned every day. Day trips were conducted by professional guides. Loved the hot water showers and hot water bottles in bed every evening. An unforgettable experience.

The staff are super friendly and helpful.. we booked the canoe (mokoro) through them which was an amazing experience. Very well organised, the packed lunch was delicious, the guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. Also the driver who took us to the mokoro place (Lovemore) was super nice. All in all it was a very great experience.
