The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop, a refrigerator and kitchenware. It’s such a unique spot. Great location. Breakfast was unreal every day. The “tent” we stayed in was huge and really felt more like a little house. And the service was stellar. Zero issues or complaints. Will 100% be staying there again.

The breakfast is amazing, everyday is a new breakfast, served like in a restaurant. It tastes amazing and is of course cooked by Toñi and Jessica. It often includes fresh fruits salad, a bigger plate with salty delicious things, and finally a pastry. You're definitely ready for a good day around Puerto Viejo. The rooms are big, there is a lot of space around, you're in the middle of the jungle and will definitely see some sloths, monkeys and birds. I would 100% go back in this place. Muchas gracias!

Although you had to get a boat across to the town that was part of the fun. The accommodation, grounds and pool were lovely, the food was good (we ate in both days (which is very unusual for us) and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Great early morning wildlife boat trip with Antonio. Saw and learnt a lot. Big thumbs up and thank you to all the staff from us.

The unit has a private entrance, garden views, a patio and fruit is featured for guests. great hosts and great privacy surrounded by trees in a beautiful environment! we got even breakfast which was AWESOME! One tent located in a large covered area shared with other guests. Offering a bar-restaurant and lush gardens, Rocking J's is located right on Salsa Brava Beach in Puerto Viejo. The vibe, the community, the music, the creativity, the location (on the beach) and just close enough to walk or cycle into the main town and Playa Cocles also. The relaxed environment. Diversity of people that stayed there. Great if travelling with teens.
