The host gave recommendations and had a nice chat with my boyfriend and I making sure everything was in working order before we settled in. The outdoor bathtub with the view was absolutely magical. This was the only redeeming part of my trip in Costa Rica a very beautiful but very expensive country by the way. This stay however was exceptional value. I would absolutely stay here again. They thought of every single detail. Makeup eraser cloths at an air bnb? Amazing. Truly amazing.

Way To Heaven is truly a gem! We arrived late in the evening, and the owner kindly greeted us upon arrival and gave us a full tour of the property. To our surprise, he had prepared coffee, tea, fruit, snacks, and drinks to welcome us—such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel at home. When we woke up the next morning, we were absolutely blown away by the view. Nestled in the heart of the cloud forest, the setting is nothing short of magical. The place itself is spotless, with an incredibly comfortable bed and soft bedding. Extra blankets were also available, which was a nice touch for the cooler nights. It’s super close to Monteverde town and all the major attractions and activities in the area. Don’t overthink it—just book! You won’t regret it.

Only cold water, but it's hot outside so it was fine. Even though the jungle is full of mosquitos, the hosts make efforts to reduce the problem. They light coils at each room and have netting at the room and over the beds. Thanks! Each unit is distanced to give privacy. Unfortunately cigarette smoke carries though. Even better than the 10/10 facilities are the owners. So kind and caring. Don't miss the bioluminescence tour if you're there at the right time. It's a highlight of a visit to Costa Rica.
