The rooftop garden is so beautifully decorated, with lots of places to chill out and socialize with the other guests. Breakfast consists of a superb platter of Nubian/Egyptian breads and dips/cheese/jam, freshly-squeezed orange juice and Egyptian coffee. If you opt for dinner, every night you'll join the other guests for a home-cooked feast of Nubian dishes. After dinner, you can participate in the coffee ceremony, and enjoy live Nubian music played by Bassam and his family. Bassam can help you book tours and even join activities organized by　the hotel / family, such as camel-riding and sand-boarding. At the end of a day's activities, it feit like coming home - I was sad to leave.

The owner, Mr. Omar (Gandhi) was very helpful, attentive and knowledgable. He helped all of the guests with organizing trips to sights around Aswan and provided useful tips and information about the area and the country as a whole. The staff working there were nice and caring. They made the whole stay a very pleasant experience. The beds where comfortable, there were enough bathrooms and the location was great, just by the Nile. The price was also very reasonable. I'd book this place again without hesitation.
