It was enjoyable, and we felt like at home. The beds were comfortable. The cleanliness throughout the campsite was accurate: it was clear that a lot of attention was given to keep good standards. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It was a nice place for a short getaway. Surrounded by natural beauty, the campsite was peaceful, but also offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and excursions. Whether you enjoy hiking or cycling, there was always something to do. Location was quiet and calm, making it ideal for families. Overall, it offered everything we could have asked for: comfort, cleanliness, a beautiful setting, and a family-friendly environment.

The wooden bungalows at Camping Prades Park feature heating and a flat-screen TV. Each one has a bathroom, kitchenette and either a balcony or a porch. The location and the area around. The wooden architecture of the luxury bungalow combined with the star view at night. It’s great for children (> 3 years) as they can enjoy privacy on the second floor. It’s very clean and the kitchen has all needed. The bathroom has all needed too. The super market has the basics + carbon for the barbecues. The staff is very competent and supportive in case of need.

Camping Fontfreda, a property with a bar, is set in Castellar del Riu, 28 km from El Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, 33 km from Artigas gardens, as well as 40 km from Cardona Salt Mountain Cultural Park. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. The cabins were a bit dated but still very comfortable, and with 3 motorcyclists staying in this cabin, it was a bit small to be honest but it served our purpose

The pool was great too. Woke to a sunrise view from our bed which topped it all off. Really lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. An added bonus was the tasty breakfast delivered to our terrace in the morning. A truly wonderful stay.
