Lots to love about this place, firstly the location is great (Close to Scarfell PIke)! The caravan was very clean and plenty space for 5 of us with good facilities and nice little extras. The host was very helpful and accommodating throughout, we all had a great trip which was made easier by having an excellent place to stay.

Located in a private wooded glade, Safari Tents offer everything you need for a Glamping Holiday in the Lake District. Sleeping up to 6 persons, the tents have 1 double bedroom complete with a four poster bed, 1 twin bedroom and a cabin inspired double bed in the wall. The Lakeside Glamping pod was really well thought out. There was a fully stocked 'kitchen' (utensils, mixing bowls etc) with 2 electric hobs and a microwave. Welcome pack with 2 mini bottles of wine, and bare essentials (biscuits, mini milk jiggers, tea, coffee, hot chocolate) presented nicely on the table. Bathroom contained mini toiletries like a hotel room would, and there was a small washing up pack by the sink (sponge, washing up liquid, 2 x tea towels and a cloth). If you arrive late and night and haven't been to the shops it was these little finishing touches that were lovely. There was also at least 6 USB sockets in addition to plugs, as well as a torch. Lots of local information in a folder including walks and stile free walks/trails for the less mobile.

Featuring 5-star accommodation, Newby Bridge Country Caravan Park is located in Newby Bridge, 13 km from World of Beatrix Potter and 48 km from Trough of Bowland. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday park free of charge. The holiday park also offers facilities for disabled guests. The unit was spacious, clean, completely accessible, and very comfortable. We would return here in a heartbeat!

Located in Eskdale, 20 km from Muncaster Castle, YHA Eskdale provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. This 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen. Guests can make use of a bar. The members of staff are just welcoming, helpful and lovely. The food is tasty and the facility is good enough. It’s also a good location for hikers. I was travelling solo to climb the Scafell Pike and met very nice people here, which made my journey special!
