Værelserne er på 3 m². Fehérkőlápa Turistaház Panzió ligger i Lillafüred, 14 km fra Bükki Nationalpark, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Istvan (I am sorry if I have spelled this incorrectly) and his wife are wonderful hosts. They are kind and generous and nothing is too much for them. The food is home cooked. We stayed for 6 nights and had the pleasure of trying a variety of traditional Hungarian meals. My favourites were the venison goulash and the bean goulash. My daughter is a little fussy and so Istvan learned the English for asking what her favourite food was and she had pizza the next day! Istvan's English is good and he uses a translator app for anything he is unsure of and so communication is good. The hotel is at the end of a three and a half km track, on top of a forested hill. It is beautifully isolated. There are many labelled trails around the hill and you can walk down a steep path into the village of Lillafured. If you visit the tourist centre in the village you can get a free map showing all the trails. There is also a cable car, which can take you up and down the hill. This is the only public transport to the hotel as taxis will not take you down the track. We did not have a car, as didn't another couple there. They used the cable car to get to the hotel and Istvan kindly picked us up from the bus stop. Walking down the hill when we left was fairly easy, but walking up, with bags, would be difficult. Unfortunately, I broke my arm, whilst out walking. Istvan insisted on organising for his friends, Veda and David to take me to the hospital. They waited with me all day and brought me back with a Hungarian souvenir plaster cast. I am indebted to them all. Despite this mishap we had a very enjoyable stay and I fully recommend it.
