This tent provides a fireplace. Providing free toiletries, this tent includes a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and slippers. This little hidden gem absolutely exceeded my expectations. Though at first the price seems high, when you think of what you would get from a travellodge or similar, then paying for extras link breakfast and drinks, there wasn't much difference for our family of four. The location is spectacular and you feel very much in the wild. We stayed for a night to break up a visit with family and as a Christmas treat and what a treat it was. The yurt is toasty warm thanks to the wood pellet stove, though the outdoor toilet in -7 degrees was a bit chilly! There were heated blankets in the beds though we ended up not needing them. The children loved the outdoor space, the fairy doors, whimsical tree house and mud kitchen. What made it so special for us was the view of the night sky, I don't think I have ever seen so many stars and to fall asleep looking at that through the skylight was so special. The hosts have supplied so many home comforts inside the yurt too, hot chocolate and teas and coffee, a box of board games, books and home made ornaments to compliment the space. The microwave and outdoor fire pit BBQ allowed us to cook a lovely meal and then breakfast was superb, continental style with eggs probably from the chickens in the coop nearby! Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY!

The owner, Martin is the nicest, kindest gentleman and I can honestly say there isn't a thing he wouldn't do for you. It's a great little haven in a beautiful part of the country. Can't recommend it enough. Definitely an experience not to be missed!

A wonderfully restored historic home surrounded by farm life - chickens, sheep, horses, cats, etc. Hosts were amazing, a beautiful room with a view and accommodated a favour for me. Would recommend.

Providing free toiletries, this mobile home includes a shared bathroom with a hairdryer. The hosts were fantastic and the grounds beautiful. Comfortable bed, good towels and well appointed kitchen for several days of self-catering. A great location for walks and enjoying birdsong. We liked the outdoor patio in the sunshine and a cosy wood fire in the evening.
