After the initial hustle and chaos of India, staying at Mountainview Homestay is a welcome place to unwind. Asfal and his friends are friendly and easy to talk to, and they give great tips on what to see and do in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed. Waking up to a view of the green trees, with a cup of good coffee is pure bliss. It’s incredibly peaceful, with the occasional playful troop of monkeys on the roof to break the silence, peeking curiously at you as they play. In short, the perfect spot to recharge before diving back into colorful, bustling India. P.S. Asfal also helped us with the next leg of our trip. He arranged a taxi driver to take us to the Alleppey, and along the way shared lots about the history of Kerala and India, tea plantations, and Hinduism. We made several stops and got to try local sweets – highly recommended!

If you are looking for a mix of adventure and nature, without compromising on comfort, our luxury Air conditioned Deluxe Tents are the perfect choice. You can't get closer to the jungle than this. The location of Jungle Hut was really special - quiet, near to nature and with fantastic views. Staff were all great and keen to help us enjoy our stay to the full. There were lots of activities on offer, from bird-watching to a trip into the Tiger Reserve. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. We stayed in one of the luxury tents, which really made us feel like we were on safari! There was a lovely sense of privacy, as the huts and tents were well spread out around the resort. Food was wonderful, lots of variety and high quality - we ate well every day and for every meal. The whole atmosphere felt adventurous, yet safe. We felt we were staying within a local context, as opposed to a faceless international resort.

Boasting a private entrance, this air-conditioned mobile home includes 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower. Marvel Cruise is located on the backwaters of Alleppey. Excellent service, super tasteful food. We had really good time with Marvel cruise staff, im so happy that we choose them. We have so many good memories from this cruise, i would highly recommend them. Rooms where nice and clean, we really like the boat and staff :)

Situated along the edge of Nagarhole Wildlife Sanctuary, Kaav Safari Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool. It has been artistically designed to please eyes and offers free Wi-Fi in hotel rooms. A really special hotel. The staff were so attentive and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. Government safaris were great and the Kaav naturalists gave us lots of extra information about the birds and animals we saw. The common areas (pool and observation deck in particular) were so comfortable, lovely places to relax! Also the food was absolutely delicious at every meal!
