Honestly this is the best place I’ve ever stayed in period. My husband and I have travelled a lot but we have never been that impressed with a place like we were with Sandgold. The location is incredible, the views are out of this world, the rooms are perfect and the service is impeccable. The staff honestly are amazing they even upgraded us to a bigger room for free which was the highlight of our trip. Also, a big shoutout to the chef the food is AMAZINGGGGG! We had the veal schnitzel on our first night and we fell in loveeee to the extent that we just cancelled our plans to explore the restaurants in the area and had it again the next night and it was even better than the night before. Seriously, hats off to the chef. This will definitely not be our last time staying in Sandgold and if it opens branches in other locations we’d be the first to visit. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed in with the most incredible views of the Dolomites on your doorstep. We stayed in their Yakima (tent option) which was very comfortable and spacious, with spacious storage units underneath (but be aware of ladder access only to use these). The facilities on site were incredible, super clean and lots of them so it wasn’t busy! Lovely sauna and spa included, and some of the best breakfast (included!) options. Options for dinner on site were so well made, and the on site shop and electric charging came in very useful. Would 10000% stay here again when we come next time.

The tent features mountain views. The unit offers 1 bed. Hotel Restaurant Schaurhof is set among alpine meadows in the hamlet of Ried. Absolutely amazing hotel with very nice and friendly staff. Everything was excellent. The location is great, the hotel is quiet and clean. I’ve never felt so comfortable anywhere else. Plus they have the best restaurant in the area. I definitely recommend staying here.
