He also took time to thoroughly describe hiking roots and how to reach them at my arrival. Both him and his wife were extremely welcoming, cooking me food and treats during my stay, his wife even brought me a hot water bottle on a cold night. Daichan also drove me back and to onsen and restaurants when the busses had stopped running. The most lovely man, with a kind and warm heart, so sad I couldn’t stay any longer!
