The location is remote but easily reachable, the tent was clean and comfy complete with all the amenities you can think of and more. For us the main highlight was the staff. They went above and beyond for us. They can speak English and supported us from arrival to departure. They provided fireworks and marshmallows for the campfire and even drove us to the closest supermarket to help with our grocery shopping. They didn't have to, but they did. So absolutely 10/10, would recommend.

All units at Onsen Glamping ShimaBlue include air conditioning and a safety deposit box. We enjoyed a relaxing night at ShimaBlue. We are a family of four with two teenage children and whilst it was tight, we enjoyed some relaxing time in nature. The ONSEN on the deck was the highlight. There is not much to do In the small town so this is a great place if you need a rest! The BBQ dinner was amazing (note you do cook for yourself).

Everything! Wonderful and lovely staff, perfect location, clean and very comfy rooms, great showers,..... if we would have had more time in Tokyo, we would have definitely stayed here longer. It's a really wonderful place that we are looking forward to visit again someday.
