The tent was clean and cozy and a big hit with young and old family members.

The guesthouse was very close to the beach which was lovely. We stored our bikes just outside the main entry in this small town. The guesthouse was very clean and had laundry facilities. We ate in the restaurant that was part of the guesthouse and had a plentiful meal.

This luxury tent provides air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Hojo Kashima Shrine is 34 km from the luxury tent and Hojo Hometown Pavilion is 36 km away. Everything. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Really positive vibe. We stayed in one of the “tents”. It was huge, super comfortable and the sound insulation was surprisingly great. The food was also 5 star (having an open bar is not unpleasant). I can’t rate this establishment higher.

Although it was a remote location and minimalistic stay, we really enjoyed the stay and would put it as one of our favourites in Japan. The privacy and Nature are unmatched, and the onsen/ gym facilities are an added bonus that most of the cheaper range hotels don’t have. 10/10 would recommend

Rooms are fitted with air conditioning, and some rooms at the hotel have a terrace. Large parking and reception staff was really helpful whenever it was for checking in but also for navigating around when we ask advice for bicycle rental. We also enjoyed Onsen and restaurant we visited 2 times for delicious meals. We hesitated with outdoor glamping tent because of rainy weather conditions.

Located in Mima in the Tokushima region, glampark Tsuruginoyu provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. This luxury tent offers a garden as well as a terrace. The room is big and can accommodate 4 people with 4 individual beds. It was cold when we arrived as it was raining all day, but the heater in the room brought it up to temperature very quick and we were very comfortable. Dinner consisted of a platter with vegies, beef, pork, and chicken and we cooked it outside with the provided gas BBQ in an enclosed table area. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was provided in the restaurant within the bathhouse next door. After 8PM everyone leaves the area and you are on your own, with emergency phone numbers provided should something pop up. The bathroom is outside and is assigned to your tent, though nothing really stops someone from using it as it remains unlocked, but we never had any issues.
