We absolutely loved our stay at Qoonel+. They have thought so well about everything. The view was incredible - hard to beat really! The glamping pod we stayed in exceeded our expectations as it was very spacious and the decking area had a lovely seated area with a fire for us to sit out when it was cold. The firewood available was the perfect amount for us to keep it going well into the evening. The sheltered area with the BBQ, kitchen area and heated blanket kotatsu was perfect. What we hadn't realised before arriving was that we could bring our own food to grill and wish we had have made use of that! The coffee and drinks available from the little café were great - we loved the festive mulled wine and tiramisu latte! Some nice craft beers to try. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. There's a nice little walk to a waterfall nearby. The shuttle service to and from Kawaguchi station was great for us too. Honestly highly recommend staying here, it's worth paying a bit extra for the gorgeous view and warm, spacious, comfortable glamping experience. One night was great but we wish we'd had more. Hopefully we'll be back one day! Thank you.

The location was amazing! Tucked into a little side street but walking distance to the lake and all the things around it. The view was amazing and unobstructed from room D. Loved the space and the tent itself was large with a great big bed made up of 4 singles! The spa/ cold/ sauna was great and the cooking facilities in the room - bbq, microwave etc would be great if you came for a week long stay with friends. We didn’t use it but the fire pit at night when it’s a bit cooler weather would also make for a nice stay.

This air-conditioned mobile home comes with 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a bidet. The mobile home features a seating area. The unit has 3 beds. We stayed for 2 nights from April 5, 2025. Luckily we got a big room with a great view of lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. It’s a Japanese style room. We stayed on the 2nd floor of the bldg adjacent to the main building where the shared bath (one for men and one for women) located. The shared bath has 5 showers and a rectangular tub for onsen (water temperature is very hot in the onsen). There are 3 toilets on the 2nd floor in our bldg shared among 4 rooms. The toilet rooms are very small. There are 2 sinks next to the toilet rooms. Everything was very clean and functional. There’s a big refrigerator and hot water dispenser with tea & coffee right outside our room. The owners are very nice and kind. They don’t speak English but used a phone with translation app so there’s no problem communicating. Highly recommended to order both breakfast and dinner here. Pay cash in advance when order with the owners. 1000 JPY for breakfast and 2000 JPY for dinner for one person. The food was plentiful, delicious and gorgeously displayed. There are steps away from Hirano beach where we took many beautiful photos of the sunrise on Mt Fuji. The hotel is 2 minutes walk to Hirano bus stop.
