I loved being able to see the stars at night and wake up to the sun rising and seeing it all from the bubble! There is an outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen (make sure to bring food as there are not big shops nearby). They have mango trees around and the family is incredibly nice. If you want to experience the local area but with comfort and unique site, go here! Also, I did a very cool hike around the area, with local guides.

Breezy , comfortable breakfast area again overlooking the river . Perfect relaxation after a game drive - a swim in the infinity pool , looking at crocs, hippo and elephants in the stretch of river below . So easy to get to on a quiet tarmaced road from Malindi , no crazy Nairobi road !!! Wonderful to have game drives along the river with knowledgable guides. Staff are super friendly and helpful , nothing too much trouble .

Guests will have a special experience as this tent features a pool with a view. The whole place is a breath of fresh air. Their houses are goals, and everything about firefly eco is gorgeous. I liked the house I stayed, the tents were great and the food was delicious. The staff is 10/10. Mr. Jacob, in specific, was very kind, helpful and nice towards us. We loved every second of the stay at Firefly Eco.

Specially the people working in the restaurant, bar and the boy at the pool. They are always very willing to help and make your stay special. The place offers incredible views over the Mida creek. The swimming pool area is lovely, the garden is beautiful and well maintained. The food is great, there are plenty delicious options that were well prepared and presented. There is a boat transfer that is free to use between Lichthuis and the hotel, which is very convenient.

I had a truly wonderful stay and was impressed by how thoughtful and caring the entire team was. All staff members were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive at all times. I arrived outside of the regular check-in hours, and it was no problem at all – they made sure we could still check in smoothly and even provided a lovely lunch package for the occasion. There was so much attention to detail throughout our stay, which made it feel very special. I would absolutely book this place again anytime!

This spacious tent has a large patio facing the Sante River. It includes 4-poster beds with mosquito nets and large, netted windows. Enchanted location. Crocs and hippo feet away during dinner. Walking safari and night game drives were fantastic.

We spent 4 wonderful days in this hotel. It was a brilliant place to rest after the earlier safari. We stayed in a tent which was very well decorated. We liked very large beds. The camp is extremely quiet, wild animals ( elephants, zebras ect.)approached the tents and the restaurant almost every day! There is no fence, but it is very well protected. Very good food, which is not so common in this type of places. Bravo to the cook! The entire team is extremely nice and helpful! Very nice swimming pool. We really recommend this place, specially that is not very very expansive:))

This tent features a private entrance. Located at Kilifi Creek, just 3 km outside of town and surrounded by a community forest, Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers features a secluded beach... Beautiful space - literally could not ask for a better area to hang out in. Everything is very clean, the entire staff are wonderful and the common areas make for a great place to hang out. Location is great - super short walk to the beach, bodas available to go anywhere. Even the dorms are lovely, with large comfortable beds. I intended to stay for 2 nights and stayed for 5.
