Providing free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and slippers. Everything was incredibly nice. Really quiet and cozy place with lots of vegetation that made it a small leafy oasis. Great view from the restaurant which had very good breakfast and food and very good service. The view and facilities in the room were unbeatable. We especially liked the net hammocks that hung out over the sea. The pool area was great with very attentive and friendly staff serving towels and drinks. A boat was available whenever you wanted to go over to Watamu.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive, the food was excellent and plentiful,, quiet and close to the forest and the creek. Basic but all you need to relax and be with nature. I loved the evening fires and the roof top views. A motorbike was on hand for any trips you may want, such as to see the local elephants have an evening drink.

This tent features a private entrance. Located at Kilifi Creek, just 3 km outside of town and surrounded by a community forest, Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers features a secluded beach... Had a great few nights at DR! Really enjoyed the laidback vibe there, and LOVED the eco outside bathrooms!!! Special thanks to Muhammed and the other woman in the bar for making our stay even better 🫶🏼
