The family was just incredible, really helpful. They prepare the breakfast and dinner for us with lot of products of their garden. Everything was delicious and we discover local food. We rent bicycles to go temple, it was the best idea. The location is really good ! We went to visit Mihintale with the father and his daughter and we learn lot of things about the culture. He’s always have good story to tell. You definitely have to go there !!

He also showed us interesting places in the area which are not shown on the internet - you have to be a local to know them. The food was delicious and in big portions, and everyday we ate something new. We will definitely visit this place if we are ever again in Sri Lanka. Place is away from a main road which is an advantage and disadvantage - this means the place is very quiet and calm. There are shops with essentials like water and toothpaste very close. But if something is needed - you can get a tuktuk or a bike. There are really friendly people in the area. We felt very welcomed.
