One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served each morning. It was fresh, local, and perfectly prepared. Both accommodations are really nice, theres a lovely breakfast and the space in the woods is so peaceful and calm. The room is clean and comfortable and the tent was also pleasant. There's a grocery nearby you can walk to, and the city is not too far off, especially if you have your own wheels. I definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kandy.

The peaceful Madulkelle Tea and Eco Lodge offers a retreat away from the city. It is just a 15-minute walk to Hatale Waterfalls and a 40-minute drive to Knuckles Mountain Range, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The location. The music the atmosphere, for those who want relax , the stuff are very nice and generous. There is wonderful garden and nice swimming pool. The area around nice for traveling and exploring.

I had the best meal, fish curry and an assortment of vegetable curry made by Piya's wife. I was very sad to leave, a peaceful retreat and would highly recommend for a peaceful unforgettable stay!

It's a hidden gem inside the jungle in Habarana/Sigiriya area. Even though a little gloomy and showing their age the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The furniture is made of solid wood. The bathroom is large and well equipped. The guests should park their vehicles at the car park near the gate from where they are taken in electric carts. The food served at the restaurant is delicious. There are enough walking pathways inside the hotel land as well as outside in the villages. However, don't venture out early in the morning and the evening especially alone since there can be an occasional elephant in the vicinity.
