We recently stayed at Wisdom Camping and Glamping, and it was truly an unforgettable escape into nature. The property spans 25 acres of pure serenity, surrounded by breathtaking paddy fields and lush forest. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely detached from the noise and stress of daily life. There’s so much to explore a beautiful natural lake, a crystal-clear natural pool, and even a charming little river nearby. We had an amazing time kayaking, watching colorful birds, and simply soaking in the untouched beauty around us. The area is rich in wildlife, and it’s a dream come true for nature lovers and anyone who enjoys stargazing under a clear sky. What made our stay even more special was Mr. Thilina, the heart and soul of the property. His hospitality was unmatched he treated us like family and ensured we were comfortable and happy every moment. His knowledge about the area and his passion for preserving nature are truly admirable. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served each morning. It was fresh, local, and perfectly prepared. If you’re looking for a place with calm vibes, peaceful surroundings, and endless natural beauty, look no further. There’s so much more to discover here than words can express. Highly recommended!

The tent includes a shared bathroom fitted with a shower. The tent has garden views. The unit has 2 futons. Sam is a perfect host, who really cares. He made us feel welcome, helped with renting bicycles and even did a very nice bicycle tour with us. The location is perfect if you want to see the sacred city (15 minutes walk away) and feel like being in nature. It is also a very good starting point to do a bicycle tour to Mihintale (which was a great experience!) From the nice rooftop terrace you can see the sunset over the stupas. The tent provides a seating area, a safe deposit box, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. So peaceful!! This was a true highlight of our trip. The beds in the tents were soooo comfy, we ended up extending for two extra night. We went on a really great hike with our guide Banu too who was so knowledgeable, it really topped off the experience for us. If you’re looking for something off the tourist track and really in nature this is definitely the place to book.

Our host was great and helped us with anything we needed. The place is located in the jungle and very beautiful and idyllic. It is bit outside of Kandy but definitely worth the little walk (about 20min) or the short ride with a tuktuk. The yoga class at the rooftop was great!

This tent has a view. It has separate washing and showering area without hot water facility. The location was great for trips to Dambulla, and Sigiriya, and Minneriya national park. It was very spread out and it felt like no one was staying there. There were 2 pools, one was very refreshing and the main one got a little warm, bot h were very clean. The bathrooms were dated but fine, there was hot water. We had 3 rooms and 1 of the rooms had a fridge. The staff were friendly and mostly spoke pretty good english. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool and really enjoyed it and the monkeys that would come and say hi.
