Exceptional accommodation, exceptional owner, surrounded by nature, we loved it. We expected something special, and we had a special experience, seeing many different birds, reptiles, wild boars, and even an elephant one evening near the accommodation. If you expect luxury, don't go here, but if you love nature and the outdoors, you will enjoy it. This was our best accommodation!

He made us feel welcome, helped with renting bicycles and even did a very nice bicycle tour with us. The location is perfect if you want to see the sacred city (15 minutes walk away) and feel like being in nature. It is also a very good starting point to do a bicycle tour to Mihintale (which was a great experience!) From the nice rooftop terrace you can see the sunset over the stupas. The slept in the big tent in the middle of the garden of the guest family, which is full of vegetation (papaya, pineapple, coffee, banana, coconut trees). The family was just incredible, really helpful. They prepare the breakfast and dinner for us with lot of products of their garden. Everything was delicious and we discover local food. We rent bicycles to go temple, it was the best idea. The location is really good ! We went to visit Mihintale with the father and his daughter and we learn lot of things about the culture. He’s always have good story to tell. You definitely have to go there !!

The music the atmosphere, for those who want relax , the stuff are very nice and generous. There is wonderful garden and nice swimming pool. The area around nice for traveling and exploring.

We had an excellent stay ! The room was comfortable and quiet, there was everything we needed ! The host family was absolutely lovely and we had a great time staying with them.

This tent has a view. It has separate washing and showering area without hot water facility. The location was great for trips to Dambulla, and Sigiriya, and Minneriya national park. It was very spread out and it felt like no one was staying there. There were 2 pools, one was very refreshing and the main one got a little warm, bot h were very clean. The bathrooms were dated but fine, there was hot water. We had 3 rooms and 1 of the rooms had a fridge. The staff were friendly and mostly spoke pretty good english. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool and really enjoyed it and the monkeys that would come and say hi.
