My favourite was the rice. The chef Jayalath did an amazing job and breakfast too was delicious. Madushan looked after us really well. Always with a smile and happy to help with everything. They arranged the safari for us which was fantastic. Supan our driver was all over it. Safe driver. He spotted things that only a trained eye would. He was friendly and fun. Highly recommend. Jayalath cooked us an amazing packed lunch. Eating outside by the campfire with oil lights was fabulous. We even had a crocodile who liked our left overs. The two dogs onsite were amazing. I really felt they protected the children especially. If they walked somewhere one or both dogs went with them. They slept on our porch at night. We were just charmed.

With their knowledge we were able to see the leopard in all its splendor and all the other beautiful animals in the Yala Park. The location is so beautifully isolated and you have a real sense of being in nature … the stars at night were incredible. The team at Wild Hut were fantastic: understated unobtrusive exceptionally attentive.. Isuru was a wonder : full of knowledge about the environment and taught us the importance of “ knowing what you’re looking for “ when spotting wild life in the park. We felt safe and looked out forat all times whilst also feeling free to explore this incredible place for ourselves. Sunset on the rock playing cards drinking tea and listening to the wildlife will be a cherished memory forever . Thankyiu Yala Wild Hut and especially Isuru the lucky for a truly magical stay J🙏🏽 the food was great especially the lunchtime curry and the bbq too , and communication pre and during stay was excellent, and very helpful with arranging transport .

Don't book somewhere else safari tour, we had one day with highly recommended company and next day with them, it is good that we took this decision, it was many times more enjoyable, nice car, professional driver and ranger!!! Also we really enjoyed the stay with dog, he was taking care of us, sleeping outside, and didn't let any animals next to the tent. Nice protective dog, just keep in mind that this is not a pet. They are still semi wild, so needs to give them space and to know how to behave. Highly recommended place
