The team is very friendly and accommodating (we had to postpone our night twice due to illness and the manager very willingly accepted). We enjoyed the musical moment around the fire as well as the camel excursion at sunset. The tents are spacious and well furnished, the blankets sufficient to keep you from getting cold at night.

From the moment we met Larbi there was an instant connection. His welcoming warmth made us feel at home. We picked him up and drove out to his camp not knowing what to expect. We were remote, away from the tours, with waves of golden sand at our feet. After tea, Beth and I walked the dunes to watch a lovely sunset. After a delicious tagine, we were surprised with a full moon rising and a sky of stars. The quiet was deafening, then broken with Berber rhythms from Larbi, his brother Nayim and friend Bryham. We danced by the fire and then shared life stories. We now have a new desert family.

Staying two nights with Younas, Hamid and Rasheed was easily the shining highlight of our three week trip to Morocco. These wise, young, generous men couldn’t have done anything more to warm our hearts, enrich our experience or increase our comfort. They went above and beyond in every way, we absolutely adored them, the accommodation and the magic of their dunes, camels, food, etc. Highly recommend - if we ever make it back, we would love to see them and stay with them again!!

El alojamiento cuenta con 4 camas. Citadelle Gorges tiene un salón compartido, terraza, un bar y servicios de masajes en Ait Ben Ali. Incredibile amazing place! The room was spacious and beautiful, and the view was absolutely stunning, both form the room private balcony and from the rooftop terrace. We had a yummy dinner and nice buffet breakfast. The staff was very kind, they also opened the breakfast buffet earlier than usual because we wanted to start our hiking early in the morning.

Our first contact with the desert. Davud and his family gave us a great welcome. The food was really good. I recommend that you let yourself be spoiled by the cuisine of their home. Davud organized a camel ride for us. Because it was too hot in our room, we slept on the terrace for two nights. Wonderful. I recommend.

Highlights included a stunning sunset walk, a candlelit dinner under the stars with heartfelt music, and engaging conversations with our hosts about life in the Sahara. Thanks, Mohamed and Ali. This experience is a must for anyone looking to connect with nature and culture in a profound way.
