From the moment we met Larbi there was an instant connection. His welcoming warmth made us feel at home. We picked him up and drove out to his camp not knowing what to expect. We were remote, away from the tours, with waves of golden sand at our feet. After tea, Beth and I walked the dunes to watch a lovely sunset. After a delicious tagine, we were surprised with a full moon rising and a sky of stars. The quiet was deafening, then broken with Berber rhythms from Larbi, his brother Nayim and friend Bryham. We danced by the fire and then shared life stories. We now have a new desert family.

The camp has the perfect location, I came by share taco and they picked me up with a motorcycle from the Main Street. All of the staff are lovely people, I felt more than welcome and really had a great experience! The food was great, my tent really spacious and beautiful and the facilities clean. Would definitely recommend it to anybody who wants to stay for one or more nights in the desert but doesn’t want to book a guided tour!

Staying two nights with Younas, Hamid and Rasheed was easily the shining highlight of our three week trip to Morocco. These wise, young, generous men couldn’t have done anything more to warm our hearts, enrich our experience or increase our comfort. They went above and beyond in every way, we absolutely adored them, the accommodation and the magic of their dunes, camels, food, etc. Highly recommend - if we ever make it back, we would love to see them and stay with them again!!

The tent offers a private entrance, a seating area, a terrace with garden views as well as a shared bathroom featuring a shower. The location is amazing. We could see the desert from our tent and take a 5 minutes walk to get between the dunes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The staff know how to welcome you. We will keep good memories from the food and the camp fire with music. Our kids (9 and 11) loved it and would love to come back.

Outstanding location! Ideal for before/after the Dades gorge. The parking is on the street and you have to walk a 50 meters path to the hotel. The staff helped us carry all the baggage. The room was clean and the view was outstanding, so was the view from the rooftop terraces. Ideal for having a beer (if you buy it elsewhere) after a long ride.

Amazing experience in the dunes of Erg Chigaga. The location just in the middle of the dunes is perfect and very relaxing. Mohammed was very friendly and nice. The transfer to the camp was interesting as we were going through a desert storm so it took over 2 hours. On the way back, it took 1.5 hours. Transfer was for 90€. I would definitely go to this camp again for more nights. 🙂

This bungalow offers shared bathroom with shower and toilet. Offering a restaurant, Le Chant Des Palmiers is located in Agdz. Very special setting in amidst of the palms. very calm and the food was amazing (we asked for a vegetarian option other than vegetable tagine and couscous, which they happily arranged)
