Vertigo Lodge is an oasis in the middle of Tofo. It is a well-curated, clean, spacious place with great attention to detail. Situated in a quiet area away from the noise of town, it is the perfect place to switch off and relax, yet close to the beach and the main attractions. The owners, Colleen and Jumbo, ensured we were well looked after, and the attentive and caring staff made our stay unforgettable. It's a special place I'm sure I'll visit again-highly recommended! Tip: Ask for Pedro for your transfers and trips to and from the beach/town. He's great!

O espaço era muito bom mas o que fez a experiencia ser especial foram as pessoas que trabalham lá. Em toda a nossa viagem conhecemos boas pessoas, mas neste hotel foi diferente. O Rico foi especialmente atencioso e ficou nos nossos corações, contudo todo o resto so staff não ficou muito atrás. Obrigado a todos e voltaremos.

A 27 km de Tofinho Monument, Canto das Amêijoas apresenta acomodações, restaurante, um jardim, uma área de praia privada e um salão partilhado. We were on the way from Tofo to Vilanculo and at the last minute we found canto dos ameijoas while looking for a place to sleep in between. And what a gem ! It is a beautiful house in front of the bay very clean and well designed and decorated. We were lucky to be the only guests and the warm attention and care that we received was beyond everything !! We were welcomed with a fresh coconut in front of the beautiful sunset on the beach Dinner at night at the restaurant on the beach where they kindly arrange a table in front of the ocean for us. The food was delicious !! The rooms are large, very clean, with air conditioning and amazing sea view. We liked it so much that we decided to stay one more night and enjoy the whole day there the following day. After a big breakfast in front of the view, we relaxed on hammocks on the beach installed for us. We went for a nice long walk on the beach with low tide, then did kayak between the mangrove at the end of the day with the high tide at sunset it was magical. They also proposed boat excursion to islands or birdwatching. We recommend 100% ! Perfect stay at this relaxing place !
