This tent's special feature is the pool with a view. The tent provides air conditioning, a private entrance, a terrace with river views as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. Simply fantastic. Dirk and Stephanie pay attention to every little detail with professionalism and kindness. The food was out of this world fantastic..... a culinary delight par excellence

The fireplace is a top feature of this tent. The tent features air conditioning and a patio. Very private and secluded campsite. We were the only guests on the campsite which is ion the Auob riverbed, under ancient Camel Thorn trees. There’s water and the best working donkey boiler I’ve experienced so far for a hot shower. Hanli and Carla are wonderful and nice people and we enjoyed our stay there a lot. The place has a lot of animals, too. We saw giraffes, gemsbok, steenbok, white-backed vultures on the nest, bat-eared foxes and rosy-faced lovebirds.

Grunau Country Hotel, em Grünau, providencia acomodações de 2 estrelas com uma piscina exterior, um jardim e um bar. The small, simple room was very clean (and so were the shared toilets/showers). The hotel has made an effort to make the place homey with a bit of decor inside the room and plants/decor throughout the property.. The wind and cold were fierce during our stay, so we were very grateful to have a good heater in our room (and they provide enough blankets). While the WIFI is only available in the reception/bar/restaurant area, it works well. Good to have a reasonably priced restaurant on site, as there are few eating options in Grunau (you can order your meals ahead to be ready at a certain time). We stayed for two nights while visiting Fish River Canyon as it is much more affordable than the places in/nearer the park (unless you are camping).
