Te Tiro really lived up to its name with an incredible view looking out over the valley with views all the way to Mt Ngauruhoe (aka Mt Doom) in the distance. The cottage was quaint and charming with everything we needed for our family of 4. The deck was also nice to sit out on play cards with our kids in the evening, while the private glow wore grotto made was a really cool bonus. Angus and Rachel were also really great hosts, so nice and welcoming and very helpful with recommendations for things to do.

Just so light, airy and spacious,being greeted by Grant and the cat and the dog. You are overlooking glorious countryside and serenaded by bird song. I couldn't get over that we had a living room, kitchen area, decking, outdoor baths and the tented bedroom all to ourselves. I thought we might have to share a kitchen and BBQ but you don't. There's an open log fire and marshmallows to toast. We really wished we'd booked another night. You need to bring something to eat/ BBQ ideally. Then hunker down on the sofa - and there's everything you need..

Absolutely beautiful green property with the kindest hosts! We felt so welcome and cared for during our stay. Yurt was very cozy, quaint and well equipped. The Cabins are quiet and comfortable and have quality Beds and amenities. The Pacific Ocean is right There, the whole place has beach access. Amazing Cafe Bagels and Coffee right on the Beach did I just say that,

A little piece of heaven. After a month travelling it was just what i needed. Cosy cottage was quiet and had a deck where i could do my yoga in private. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby for 3 nights. The kitchen was basic but enough to cook a simple meal. A hot shower and clean bathroom. Rested ready for my next bit of travel.
