This was an amazing stay right on the edge of the canyon. The room was good size and the bed was comfortable. It was clear that a lot of attention went into planning the rooms. The amenities like a coat tree, electric kettle, chairs for sitting by the window, and floor length mirror made it all the better. The location was perfect to start the balcony walk. The gentleman taking care of the property made a fire for the guests each night which was lovely. It was nice to enjoy dinner and breakfast in the home of a local family. If you can stay 2 nights I would recommend as it makes the experience all the more relaxing. It was great that there were only 3 domes and they were spaced just enough that you felt like you had a good amount of privacy.

Featuring views of the mountain, this tent features 1 double bed or 2 single beds, a seating area, a fan and a private bathroom with a shower. The Manager, Zafar, has a great team of staff. They looked after us so well and nothing was too much trouble for them. The Sultans Tents are really nice rooms with comfy beds and good facilities. Hotel is in a great location right next to the start of the W4 hiking route to the summit of Jebel Shams. The buffet breakfast and dinner were very good in terms of both choice and quality. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again on my next visit to Shams.
