We are so glad we decided to book to stay on Darocotan Island. It was so beautiful and the perfect place to relax and be off grid. The food was amazing, our little bee hive hut was in the perfect spot right near the water and was an extremely comfortable sleep with all the fans. The bathroom facilities were beautiful and the staff were lovely!

Rooms include a balcony with inner courtyard views. We really liked the staff - they were very friendly and super nice. The domes were very cozy. You can rent a scooter for free which was very convenient. The breakfast was nice and delicious. The location is good - near the Lio beach (very nice one) and next to the airport.

Situated on the beachfront in El Nido, SHALOM CAMP features a garden. The property has sea and mountain views, and is a few steps from Bucana Beach. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Lauriano and his family make you feel at home. They are beautiful caring people. The tent was ok, they even gave me a towel. The bathrooms are pretty simple but extremely clean. And they have a shared kitchen, so you can cook your own meals. The location is amazing, right there on the beach away from the caos of El Nido. The village of Bucana is pretty charming, too.

We absolutely loved everything about this! Such a clever idea and so much thought was put into it. We were given a location of a derelict beach 40min drive away and set up the truck there. Both of us were automatically insured to drive the van and were left to our own devices to explore El Nido. Shower, stove, fold out bed on top of the roof, camping chairs, cooking appliances/sauces/spices provided. One night was perfect to get away from the busy hotels and atmosphere of El nido. The host was brilliant and checked up on us making sure we were all sorted.. also let us drop the van at the ferry port to make it less stressful for the onward journey. Definitely a highlight of our holiday in the Philippines.

You get a transfer from El Nido, then boat to the island of Iloc which is all included in the cost. Walking along the beach accompanied by the resort dogs brings you into another world, where you see local indigenous people in their habitat. Joel, the owner spent a year on the island creating his dream with the Islanders working on Parada. There he runs this well oiled machine with his wife and team. Food is sublime, the chef is excellent. Accommodation is well equipped glamping with bed, fan, light, charging sockets in the tent. Very comfortable. Although in a tropical retreat away from hustle, bustle of El Nido, internet is very fast due to STARLINK. Salt water swimming pool is wonderful. This has been the highlight, the jewel in the crown of the Philippines. We will definitely return.

There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Everything about the stay was perfect. The staff were friendly and very obliging. The food was delicious. The location was perfect as it was just out of town, so it wasn't to busy. The hotel offers free transport to and from the town which works perfectly. My only issue was the air conditioning was very loud so at night it was quite noisy. But other than this, I cannot fault this resort.

The campground has family rooms. a magical, hidden paradise. a 40 min trip outside of el nido town, but that's why its special. a quiet, low-key fishing community away from the tourism central fair. a must for adventurers, solo wanderers, romantic escapes, hints of Swiss Family Robinson vibes. Mike and Fatima and Mama were wonderful hosts, Mike built (literally) a beautiful, peaceful space I'll treasure for a lifetime. good folks, felt like I was leaving family on our goodbyes. will stay in touch and hopefully return again. salamt kuya! many blessings to you all.
