This has been my most genuine experience in all of Thailand. You do not feel like a customer, but a family member! The location is breathtaking. You are camping on beautiful mountain with all the luxuries of modern life: clean water, comfy beds, fans in your room with fresh water from the mountain to cool off and let's not forget the amazing food that is served by the loving family. Two things to keep in mind, if you are not too confident on your two feet, then this property will test you as there are many steps going up and down. Also, this is not the place to take your first scooter drive in Thailand, but if you have experience then it will be fun. A lot going on around the Safe Zone, so be sure to rent scooter directly from the family and enjoy. So stop reading and start booking!

Like other reviews, the owner is the highlight of this hostel, she was very helpful during my stay and so hospitable and generous. The coffee available at the hostel in particular was excellent, and so was the chicken basil dish, delicious.

This tent's standout features are the pool with a view and hot tub. What an experience! The owners are extremly kind, helpfull and organized. They arranged an airport pickup for us, which went perfectly smooth. They even drove us to our next destination to Khao Sok village after checkout - free of charge! The accomodation itself is simply stunning. Perfectly clean and super cozy. There is a private pool and bathtub outside. Taking a bath with open sky on a rainy evening was one of the most amazing experiences of our trip. You can order food directly via whatsapp and it will be delivered to your front door. We had dinner and breakfast and everything was very tasty and authentic. The location is also great. You could explore the sourroundings on foot or simply borrow scooters at the hotel (free of charge!!!) to explore Khao Sok village within a few minutes. There is a temple just accross the street, where you can feed monkeys. Cant recommend this accomodation and the owners enough. Our only regret was that we only stayed for one night. One of the highlights of our trip - camping in the jungle! We booked the two tents between three of us so it meant that our group had the whole area to ourselves. There are no restaurants nearby but the staff were so helpful and offered a delivery service for lunch and dinner, we just texted our order and gave cash when they arrived (make sure you bring cash with you!). The food is the best food we had all trip, the restaurant they order from is incredible and there are so many options on the menu. It rained during our stay and it was the most peaceful few hours spent sitting in our tent looking out over the misty hillsides. We then spent the evening sitting in the treehouse area, watching the sun go down. It was a great way to spend a quiet day after all the travelling we had done and would continue to do the next day. Breakfast was brought to our tents by the staff the next morning, they organised a time with us in advance and it was delicious (exactly what we needed before heading out to the floating bungalows on the lake!). The staff also organised a taxi for us from the accommodation to the pier. Everything about our stay here was amazing!

The owners and staff were amazing and kind , took care of everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the facilities were accurate. We got breakfast to the bungalow every morning and you can tell that the ingredients chosen carefully and are the best. Not to mention even the amazing coffee , the best one we’ve tasted in Thailand. The design of the proprietary is minimalist in the best way, we didn’t miss anything starting with food , snacks and tea and even to air conditioning + fan , lighter and mosquito repellent. We came for one night and decided to stay for 2 , and if we could have we’d stay for more. Fully recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff was impressively attentive to my requests and others staying on the campsite. They were very kind, patient, and giving. We had a great time bamboo rafting and floating on the river with Tut. It was also great to just walk 1 minute to the river for a swim. There is a really cool cave just across the street with lots of bats living inside.

It was my last week in Thailand, and I wanted to isolate myself on a peaceful island. I found this place on Google Maps, and it turned out to be an incredible experience — living in nature, camping, and spending time with a beautiful Thai family. I’m truly grateful to Tom and his family, who were kind, warm, and very attentive. They picked me up from the pier, invited me to dinner several times, and even helped me shop at the island’s minimarket. They were always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. Tom also guided me around and helped me explore the island. As for the campsite, it’s well set up. One day there was a storm, and the tent held up perfectly. The island is very natural, with a rich insect ecosystem, so I recommend bringing repellent. Still, this is part of the island’s charm — wild, untouched, and unlike any other island I visited in Thailand. If you're looking for a place without tourists, surrounded by nature and ideal for meditation or disconnecting, this is the perfect spot.
