I stayed in a beachfront bungalow for 9 nights, and it was a wonderful experience! If you want a more peaceful and quiet place to be after being on Koh Chang or Koh Kood, this is the spot! Family run place, everyone here is SO kind! Very roomy and clean bungalow with a large front porch area mere steps from the sand. On site restaurant serves great drinks and food, from traditional Thai food to pizza, sandwiches, and burgers. A small play area for the little ones if you have kids. Motorbike rental there as well. The beach is great for awesome sunset views, shell picking, swimming, and just chilling out. Everything quiets down after 8 pm for a good night's sleep. No late night parties or thumping sound systems here. Away from the main road enough for zero traffic noise. The busier part of Koh Mak with more choices for bars, restaurants, and stores is just a 10 minute scooter ride away. The staff here will pick you up when you arrive on the island and take you to your boat when you leave. Will definitely go back!

We had such a wonderful stay here, even though it was only for 2 nights! The hospitality was amazing – Muay was so kind and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, and we really appreciated being able to use the bikes to explore the area. The location was also perfect. We stayed in the tents and were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable everything was – it never felt inconvenient at all. Overall, it was a really lovely experience and we had a great time.

Super friendly staff, beautiful, quiet area, the tent was super well equipped. Hot water in the shower, free water, coffee, and tea. Aircon working well, also a fan in the room. We could rent scooters for very affordable and use snorkeling masks for free. Close to restaurants and cafes and the beach.

Vanara bungalows is a beautiful place to stay. It is in a good location and the staff are lovely, so helpful and kind and want to look after you. They offer a laundry service so you don’t even have to go out to get it done. The food is gorgeous - highly recommended - and their lobby area is very comfortable The rooms are spacious and the beds are better comfortable. Everything was very clean. The gardens are stunning and they are planting more beautiful flowers and improving the site every day Highly recommended!!

I have come to this island for years and Veha always found me accommodations. When I learned he started a tent camp I knew I had to stay here, even though I had a place for a couple months. 555. He is responsible for me coming every year. He is the "island man". for me. He recommends everything. He's honest and can tell you what is vacant (even if it is not his place), he can rent you a motorbike or boat trip or recommend the AMAZING restaurant on the property. The campground is literally so close to the beach and he speaks so highly of the restaurant I had to try it. I had never been. SO GOOD! I love waking up in the morning and hearing the birds. Now is a nice time because it is "winter", which is like my summer. 555. I love the comfortable mattresses and the fans. It's literally perfect (Dec-Feb). I cannot say for other months, but I love this and we will stay again in a tent soon if it becomes available. Forget "glamping" - this is legit camping with everything one would need. He can also hire any driver/boats/etc you may need. I am so happy. I will definitely be back as long as Veha is my host. That you for making my stay so wonderful.

Nice clean beach and nice small huts for stay. It’s not a five star hotel but that’s not what I search. The staff is all very friendly and the breakfast is fresh and with a good taste. Also the dinner is delicous. Our second stay there and we will come back… for sure.

The guy who owned it was really friendly and helpful. He made sure my taxi came and saw me off after I checked out. The family next door were also really nice. They had mopeds and a shop. Room was decent and close to the beach.
