Under Canvas Grand Canyon is located in Valle. The property provides tent accommodations with a restaurant on-site. Guests can enjoy locally sourced and seasonal menu items for breakfast and dinner. It was something special between Airbnbs and hotels. The staff was very nice. They showed us everything, gave us free water (coffee and tea is free 24/7 in the lobby tent as well) and some explanations on the impressive and wonderful looking sky full of stars. The food (breakfast and dinner) is quite expensive and for some meals also not very much (e.g. Yuca fries) but extraordinary and very good-tasting. We do recommend the Classic breakfast sandwich and the aragula salad. In the evening there was a live-musician playing country music in the lobby tent and outside there were multiple campfires to toast s'mores for free and connect to other guests from all over the world.

The tent is perfectly equipped and very nice Set Up. we felt super good! but the best thing is the silence and the nature. you dont hear anything except that! this gives you such a good Feeling and inner peace! a place to come down and relax and to feel super good!

This tent's special feature is the fireplace. The tent provides air conditioning, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom featuring a bath and a shower. The location was good. I saw two deer that I did not expect to see so was cherry on top.

The check-in was quick, all questions were answered. The tents are really nice and tidy. We even got a heater delivered directly to our tent. This stay was for the adults and the kids a real Adventure. The sky and the stars at night are breathtaking. We even heared Coyotes at Night. We highly recommend this place.

It's quiet self contained, a chance to do camping in style away from home (we do normally go camping) this was more upper class for us so it was good since it would have been hard for us otherwise being from a different country not knowing the elements and places to go otherwise and was a more cost effective then staying in the canyon since that's the reason we were there. For a family with 3 kids, there was plenty of space and more facilities than a hotel room, and we felt safe there. Like any caravan, the shower had limited hot water time (5 Minute showers, 20minutes to reheat) in the caravan but there were showers on-site that were clean and had plenty of hot water as well as soap/body wash. There was heating and cooling inside. Some nice restraunts to eat in town and only an hour drive from the Canyon and the drive was not stressful (one road all the way through). They offer wood for fire (when permited for $) and a bbq for outdoor cooking, as well as stove, oven and Microwave and all basic things dishes, cutlery etc needed for your stay. Good internet as well. The beds were firm, so if you like a soft bed you may need to bring something extra to put on the bed or ask (i did not so not sure if there is an alternative onsite) and the staff were wonderful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful warmly furnished place on narrow space in very calm and friendly neighbourhood. Can see a red rock from the entrance of the parcel. I had the Zen room don't know about the other rooms. Nicely done Zen Buddhism theme style which I like. Tiny kitchen with everything needed and a cool veranda to relax on and also watching the night sky. I loved it!
