When we saw the word “glamping” in the title, we sure didn’t expect to find the list of amenities in these “TiPi’s”. Memory foam mattresses, towel sets, mini-fridge with freezer element, big screen TV, ceiling fan, a swamp cooler with a free bag of ice to get it cooling on hotter days, an electric heater for cooler nights, a propane gas grill, an outdoor cleaning station (with sink, detergent & a scrubber), and semi- private bath & shower facilities out the back entrance to our teepee. Just WOW. We did a luxurious, small-group safari in Africa a few years ago, and the lodging here could have rivaled what our safari provider had awaiting us each day as we crossed the savanna. The staff were friendly, attentive, and informative. The location was perfect, just outside downtown Moab, with close access to Canyonlands & Arches NPs. When we first booked months ago, the closest affordable lodging was 50 miles away in Monticello. On a whim as we began our travel, I checked booking.com and noticed two glamping TiPi’s available at Moab RV Resort. What a godsend - helping us avoid a multi-day 100 mile round trip from Monticello just to get near the parks.

Situated in Monticello, within 50 km of Wilson Arch and 32 km of Newspaper Rock State Historical Monument, Blue Mountain Domes - The WOW Experience features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The dome was so fun. The grill and fire pit area was great. The shower was hot. The bathroom and the room were both really warm. The guy that came to meet us was great and very friendly.

Offering an outdoor pool and a hot tub, Sun Outdoors Arches Gateway is located in Moab. Free WiFi access is available at this camping area. Location was great, next to the hwy we were using but close to town. Clean nice pool, convenient laundry, nice deck on our rv with patio furniture. Lots of towels, everything we needed.

Also known as the Standard Safari Tent, this tent is equipped with a lantern and solar lighting and can accommodate either 1 king or 2 twin beds. Guests have access to a shared bathroom complete with a shower, flushing toilet, sink and spa products. Fantastic location (despite being near the road). You want for nothing here. Great reception then taken to our tent and helped us put all our stuff in the buggy right up to our tent. Mist systems to help with the hear, fans inside the tents, batteries to charge your phone, etc. Little porch is very cute to be able to enjoy the night sky. Bathrooms are great, warm water and great shampoo (my hair was soft for days). Great activities suggested, lovely smores around the fire which got cut short due to high winds but continued to chat inside around a little fire. We loved it!

With free private parking, the property is 30 km from Mesa Arch and 34 km from Wilson Arch. The property is non-smoking and is set 36 km from North Window. We were moved to a teepee. We had a lot of privacy, we were really glamping! Electricity worked, the little heater kept us warm, it was 36 F in the morning. Falling asleep the sun was still touching the top of our teepee. I missed that for several days in my bedroom.

The air-conditioned luxury tent consists of 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom with bathrobes and free toiletries, and a seating area. Towels and bed linen are provided in the luxury tent. The accommodation offers a fireplace. Location. Service. Picture perfect.
