When we saw the word “glamping” in the title, we sure didn’t expect to find the list of amenities in these “TiPi’s”. Memory foam mattresses, towel sets, mini-fridge with freezer element, big screen TV, ceiling fan, a swamp cooler with a free bag of ice to get it cooling on hotter days, an electric heater for cooler nights, a propane gas grill, an outdoor cleaning station (with sink, detergent & a scrubber), and semi- private bath & shower facilities out the back entrance to our teepee. Just WOW. We did a luxurious, small-group safari in Africa a few years ago, and the lodging here could have rivaled what our safari provider had awaiting us each day as we crossed the savanna. The staff were friendly, attentive, and informative. The location was perfect, just outside downtown Moab, with close access to Canyonlands & Arches NPs. When we first booked months ago, the closest affordable lodging was 50 miles away in Monticello. On a whim as we began our travel, I checked booking.com and noticed two glamping TiPi’s available at Moab RV Resort. What a godsend - helping us avoid a multi-day 100 mile round trip from Monticello just to get near the parks.

The property is non-smoking and is located 33 km from Newspaper Rock State Historical Monument. This place is incredible! I regret saying it only one night. Everything was top-notch, but the night sky was the highlight. I’ve never seen so many stars in my life. Chilling by the fireplace, surrounded by nature, away from the hectic life, was incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend it!

Offering an outdoor pool and a hot tub, Sun Outdoors Arches Gateway is located in Moab. Free WiFi access is available at this camping area. Location was great, next to the hwy we were using but close to town. Clean nice pool, convenient laundry, nice deck on our rv with patio furniture. Lots of towels, everything we needed.

Also known as the Standard Safari Tent, this tent is equipped with a lantern and solar lighting and can accommodate either 1 king or 2 twin beds. Guests have access to a shared bathroom complete with a shower, flushing toilet, sink and spa products. So grateful for the impeccable service by Becca. She was patient and professional to show us around and answer any questions we had. The tent was hot in the summer, which made it unbearable to remain in the tent in the day, but there were many ways to stay hydrated and entertained in the lobby. Stargazing was great without light pollution. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Under Canvas Moab

Moab RV Resort Glamping Setup Tent in RV Park #4 OK-T4 is located in the Moab South Valley district of Moab, 37 km from La Sal Mountain Loop, 38 km from Delicate Arch and 46 km from Landscape Arch. With free private parking, the property is 30 km from Mesa Arch and 34 km from Wilson Arch. The property is non-smoking and is set 36 km from North Window. We were moved to a teepee. We had a lot of privacy, we were really glamping! Electricity worked, the little heater kept us warm, it was 36 F in the morning. Falling asleep the sun was still touching the top of our teepee. I missed that for several days in my bedroom.

The air-conditioned luxury tent consists of 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom with bathrobes and free toiletries, and a seating area. Towels and bed linen are provided in the luxury tent.
