When we saw the word “glamping” in the title, we sure didn’t expect to find the list of amenities in these “TiPi’s”. Memory foam mattresses, towel sets, mini-fridge with freezer element, big screen TV, ceiling fan, a swamp cooler with a free bag of ice to get it cooling on hotter days, an electric heater for cooler nights, a propane gas grill, an outdoor cleaning station (with sink, detergent & a scrubber), and semi- private bath & shower facilities out the back entrance to our teepee. Just WOW. We did a luxurious, small-group safari in Africa a few years ago, and the lodging here could have rivaled what our safari provider had awaiting us each day as we crossed the savanna. The staff were friendly, attentive, and informative. The location was perfect, just outside downtown Moab, with close access to Canyonlands & Arches NPs. When we first booked months ago, the closest affordable lodging was 50 miles away in Monticello. On a whim as we began our travel, I checked booking.com and noticed two glamping TiPi’s available at Moab RV Resort. What a godsend - helping us avoid a multi-day 100 mile round trip from Monticello just to get near the parks.

Offering an outdoor pool and a hot tub, Sun Outdoors Arches Gateway is located in Moab. Free WiFi access is available at this camping area. During our road trip we made a 3 day stop in Moab and stayed at the Sun Outdoors in an Airstream. Check-in was smooth, polite and courteous. The "Airstream" was pretty new and equipped with everything you need. We also had a larger one which had 2 double beds and a bunk bed. Since there were only two of us, we had plenty of space. On the terrace in front with the Adirondack Chairs you can relax perfectly. There is a grill, which could be operated with a wood fire, which we did not use. The location, between Arches NP and Moab, although located on a road, was absolutely quiet and relaxing. If you book accommodation directly in Moab on the main commercial street, the traffic and hustle and bustle can be quite annoying and noisy. There is a pool on site, but it's very small for the complex, as lodges, RV sites, and tent sites are also rented out. There are a total of 8 "Airstreams" with the associated parking space. The "Airstream" was very clean, the shower and toilet work smoothly, and the large fridge with a large freezer and gas stove allow you to live completely self-sufficiently. Since we liked it so much on the first day, we immediately extended another day on site, since the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. "Sun Outdoors, Moab" is an absolute recommendation and we would book it again at any time. LG from Germany!

Also known as the Standard Safari Tent, this tent is equipped with a lantern and solar lighting and can accommodate either 1 king or 2 twin beds. Guests have access to a shared bathroom complete with a shower, flushing toilet, sink and spa products. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Bed was extremely comfortable plus the bedding was nice.

Moab RV Resort Glamping Setup Tent in RV Park #4 OK-T4 is located in the Moab South Valley district of Moab, 37 km from La Sal Mountain Loop, 38 km from Delicate Arch and 46 km from Landscape Arch. With free private parking, the property is 30 km from Mesa Arch and 34 km from Wilson Arch. The property is non-smoking and is set 36 km from North Window. We were moved to a teepee. We had a lot of privacy, we were really glamping! Electricity worked, the little heater kept us warm, it was 36 F in the morning. Falling asleep the sun was still touching the top of our teepee. I missed that for several days in my bedroom.

The air-conditioned luxury tent consists of 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom with bathrobes and free toiletries, and a seating area. Towels and bed linen are provided in the luxury tent. The accommodation offers a fireplace. Basically everything! Unique experience in the middle of Utah. Can only recommend this stay. Food and drinks quite pricy but that is understandable. Amazing facilities and tents. We all loved it and will return hopefully once again.
