Loved the pool!! We could see giraffes from the pool…. The fridge was well stocked with an array of beverages and water. Great find!

Camp Figtree is situated at 2km from the road, due to which you can enjoy total silence. The only sounds that you hear come from nature: birds, wildlife, … We were warmly welcomed by the General Manager, who received us with homemade Icetea. He showed us around the premises and brought us to the room. Camp Figtree also has a good restaurant with a terrace overviewing the mountains. The restaurant is very cosy. We sat next to an open fire and enjoyed our candlelight dinner. The food was very fresh and it tasted delicious! This morning, we also had a friendly encounter with the Lodge Manager. It was not a problem at all to stay a bit longer. He said we could even stay for lunch if we wanted. I will defintely stay here again on my next visit to South Africa!

We saw so many different animals and were very happy. Lovely place. Great ranger who explained everything in great detail. We recommend staying two nights at least. Book early! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious. They take care of all the needs you might have.
