It was a great breakaway for me and my son. If ever you feel like a 'Robinson Crusoe' vibe then this place will tick all the boxes. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the stream and the ability to cook outside. We also enjoyed the proximity to the sea and one has the whole length of the coast to explore at leisure. Best of all, and this was quite a surprise for me, was the internet connectivity. I would have loved to have spent a few days working from there with connectivity like that. We were warned about the noisy frogs, but we loved this symphony at night. Actually as we now live in the Netherlands looking for natural sounds to stream is the closest we can get to the real thing. So, definitely best experienced for real!

Known as Thanda Tented Camp, this camp is built in colonial-safari style. Each spacious tent comes with a private sun deck and en-suite canvas bathroom. The breakfast was really delicious, beautiful surroundings, lots of animals and great staff.
