We had a great night stay here, had quite a few encounters with the wildlife but felt completely safe and taken care of throughout.

Private bathroom as part of the tent. The staff is very friendly and you can easily connect with other people during game drive or at the camp fire. Game drives were fantastic! We have seen all the big 5 and our guides Karabo and Floyd are very knowledgeable. We also really enjoyed the food. The star is the braai (bbq) which offers options for meat lovers and vegetarians. I was surprised how good the oxtail was. The starter soups are also amazing. Vegetarian options were also available on request. Potential allergies were requested beforehand. For breakfast my favourite was the omelette, but other options are provided as well. Besides all of this you can enjoy the pool surrounded by birds between your game drives and in the night time, the sounds of the bush (yes we heard hyenas while falling asleep, but no need to worry, all is safe as a fence separates you from the wild animals!). The best part of the experience though was our guide, Charné Her knowledge, respect and enthusiasm for the animals is beyond compare. And our night tracker, Captivity, was also very skilled. He even spotted a chameleon in a bush in the dark !

Our guide Brilliant was great, found and showed us all the animals. We saw four out of five of the bigfive (all except the rhino). The tents are large and comfortable. The food selection was large enough and the food very tasty.

Situated in Manyeleti Game Reserve, Buffelshoek Tented Camp offers a garden and barbecue. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is 34 km away. Free private parking is available on site. My 3rd visit and as usual everything is perfect. The camp is rustic but very comfortable with generosity. Games drives are top level, to come back again and again
