These luxury tents are situated on the side of the Simonsberg Mountain, with views of the Franschhoek, Paarl and the Drakenstein mountain ranges. Each tent features a private deck with sun loungers. Boschendal was stunning and we loved our Retreat Cottage for our family of four. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and the facilities were all beyond our expectations. Great breakfast with beautiful views. The wine tasting situation was initially not ideal because they seemed to be very crowded and stressed, but it all worked out in the end and they went out of their way to make up for it. The wine was great.

Stunning views, an outside bathtub, a neat fireplace, lovely hosts, superb equipment and everything was super clean. We couldn't ask for more. 100% recommend you try it yourself. These tented suites feature a private wooden deck and an en suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Food was very good, decent choice and staff always very friendly. The staff we interacted with the most were Unelle and Stefan who were awesome. They took a genuine interest in catering to our every need. The "Hideaway" where we stayed is spectacular! We were greeted with Giraffes when we awoke on our first morning and that evening Eland were waiting to say goodnight!

Spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Gorgeous views made extra special with the Zebra and Bokke for company

The tent provides air conditioning, a private entrance, a balcony with garden views as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The unit offers 1 bed. Cabin in the woods on a farm, beautifully decorated, private balcony, lovely forest views. Happy friendly staff. No TV in the room but there was a communal lounge with TV, books & games. Also a heated pool, hikes on the property, farm animals & even baboons. Loved it there!

Hartenbos Private Game Lodge is a privately-owned escape set in the malaria-free region of Hartenbos, Mossel Bay situated on the Garden Route. The atmosphere! The accommodation was spectacular! The staff were brilliant! The animals & game drive marvellous!

Featuring views of the Swartberg Mountains, each bush tent has its own open-air hot tub. There are coffee/tea facilities, plugs and in/outside lights, electric blankets, and a deck area. This stay was exceptional. From the views of town to the service of the staff. We had an amazing stay. It was our grans birthday and they made such an effort to comfort her and make her feel special. The dinner they made was amazing. I will be dreaming of this for years. They had everything you needed, heated blankets, wine and spectacular views. My gran has mobility issues and they changed the rooms for us to be more suitable for her. They even checked up on her when we went out for the morning.

Teniqua Treetops is a tented treetop resort set in the lush forest along the Garden Route between Knysna and Sedgefield. Everything single thing. It was an exceptionally good stay and I can't wait to go back! What a wonderful experience.
