I got a very good price because of my last minute booking. Staff was very friendly and I even got a bottle of wine because it was my birthday! Spacious rooms with microwave, fridge and plates and cutlery as well as coffee and tea facilities. I had a room with beautiful view over the city. Had a perfect night!

24 hour desk and the fella behind the counter was very helpful considering I rocked in at 1am. Was upbeat and positive which isn't the same response I've had getting in early morning at other hotels. They also do a bag drop too and considering I had a 4 hour gap between check out here and check in at my next place, was really handy!

Very friendly staff. Maddy checked us in early and got our very heavy bags up to our room before we came back. Jaime printed walking directions at reception and was helpful with any of our requests. The Apartments are in prime location surrounded by homes and within walking distance of train tram or bus services. Spotlessly clean and very comfy bed with well equipped kitchenette. Daily cleaning service if required. Supermarket 5 mins away. Great pub The Prince Patrick with pub grub 5 mins away also. Would highly recommend The Birches to anyone
