We found this property on booking.com and chose it because it seemed to be a good value. How thrilled we were to arrive and find what a treasure we had stumbled into! greeted warmly with a glass of Prosecco, the lobby area has a lovely fireplace and seating area with a bar to the side. It was a 10-minute walk from the train station - we are four people ranging in age from 35 to 74 and managed with light luggage but is canted uphill and they have a shuttle available should you need it. Very nicely decorated and furnished, our bedroom was spacious enough with two chairs for seating as well as a balcony with cozy chairs and a view of the Matterhorn. The kids were given a discount at the local ski rental spot (which delivers and picks up the gear) and purchased their lift tickets right at the hotel desk. The hostess even provided my husband and me with extra ski poles so we could take the train up and walk across to Chez Vrony to meet the skiers for lunch. We also reserved the lovely spa (steam room sauna, jacuzzi and lounge area -all new and beautiful - for our family’s exclusive use for an hour each day! The breakfast buffet (linen tablecloths!) was lovely with fresh eggs and bacon and extensive choices and great cappuccinos. We have already recommended this place to friends who are coming in February and we will be making it our regular stop in Zermatt.

The location is the best in Zermatt, the staff was very helpful spicaly Mr. Faisal, he was very kind and well knowledged. The concierge guys have answers for all my questions. And I am very sorry to forget the breakfast buffet manger because he were the best guy ever and has the most positive energy while serving people on the morning.

The Hotel Simi is 984 feet from the Zermatt train station. All cable cars, elevators and countless shops and restaurants can be reached within a few minutes' walk.

The room is clean, and the toilet is modern. The balcony has a nice view. The bed and blankets are very comfortable and cozy. I love the jacuzzi. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in a big spacious room and a balcony with a fantastic view, generous and helpful hosts, breakfast was a delight and facilities like whirlpool and sauna were just what we were looking for! We left happy and regenerated. Def recommend this place to get a good taste of Switzerland
