A beautiful old house decorated exquisitely. Although I was travelling solo, I was given a family room which was huge with plenty of space. Room was spotless and the view was lovely from the back window. Bed was comfy. Although the guest house is on a busy road, the rooms are out the back and you don't hear the traffic. Congratulations to the owners on such a beautiful house and furnishings. Highly recommended

We were greeted with a handwritten welcome note in our room (plus cookies and chocolates!) from Liz, the owner of the inn. The inn and rooms are stately, warm and comfortable. It's 130 year old family home that has been upgraded with all the modern conveniences. The Scottish breakfast was excellent. Liz recommended the restaurant next door, which was terrific and very convenient. There was easy and safe parking on the street.. We recommend it and would definitely stay again, as it provides a great experience of a small Scottish inn.

No staff but the lady of the restaurant downstairs , same ownership, was hiper kind and efficient to help us with the online check in. The building, room , all perfect.

Close to Ayr seafront and a few metres from the town centre, Mercure Ayr is a comfy hotel with gym. Free WiFi is available throughout. The Brasserie Bar and Restaurant serves drinks, snacks and meals....
